A new digital media platform focused on covering underreported stories and communities has been launched, aiming to expand representation in journalism and broaden the scope of global news coverage.
Inclusive Voices News & Television, a news and broadcast initiative, says it will focus on stories from marginalized and underserved populations, including people living with albinism, persons with disabilities, and grassroots communities whose perspectives are often absent from mainstream media.
The platform will publish a mix of breaking news, feature stories, investigative reports, and video programming. According to its founders, the goal is to provide accurate, contextual reporting while highlighting voices that are frequently overlooked.
The initiative is informed by personal experience with marginalization, which its leadership says helped shape its broader mission of inclusion. However, the platform emphasizes that its editorial focus extends beyond any single group, aiming to reflect a wide range of communities and lived experiences.
“We want to ensure that no story is ignored and no voice is left out of the conversation,” a representative of the platform said.
In addition to written reporting, Inclusive Voices News & Television plans to produce documentaries, interviews, and talk shows centered on social issues, culture, and community development. The platform also intends to encourage audience participation by inviting individuals to share their stories and perspectives.
The launch comes at a time when media organizations are facing increasing scrutiny over representation and coverage gaps. Inclusive Voices News & Television says it aims to address those gaps by combining traditional reporting with community-centered storytelling.
The platform is now accessible online and is expected to expand its digital and broadcast presence in the coming months.
